"I was hungry and you gave me something to eat." Though donations of time and money we support hunger relief programs both locally (CCCM) and internationally (CWS-CROP).
"I was a stranger and you invited me in." Our involvement with the Lockhart Ministerial Alliance assists transients or others in need of short term assistance.
"I needed clothes and you clothed me." Our childrens programs annually supports Heifer Project International and Operation Christmas Children which helps families in underdeveloped countries.
"I was sick and you looked after me." Our Care and Nurture Committee, Prayer Chain, Homebound Committee, and staff maintain regular contact with the sick and homebound members.
"I was in prison and you came to visit me." We have provided Bibles to prisoners, and through "Angel Tree" we have purchased and delivered many hundreds of gifts to the children of prisoners in their parent's name.
As a connectional church our congregation provides more than
$30,000 annually to the support of United Methodist service and outreach program
worldwide through our 100% apportionments.
